PAL
In a small basement of a rented house, we started Pan African Lifestyle in 2020 with one mission: to make Pan-Africanism cool for a new generation. People told us we were crazy, that Pan-Africanism was dead, that our vision of The African Dream was impossible, even laughable. At one point, we almost believed them. But we kept going. Through the silence, the doubt, and the challenges, we forged ahead and built a community that now reaches over half a million followers across four social media platforms, with 1 to 25 million people from the global Black diaspora engaging with us every month. Since then, we’ve published Africa 101, a foundational guide on travel, relocation, and investment on the continent, authored Akeem Maleek and the Crown of Alkebulan, the first Pan-African fantasy novel, alongside several other books, created the PAL Trivia and Umoja card games, released a Pan-African music album with over 85 tracks of conscious yet cool vibes, and launched apparel that’s selling out fast. We don’t share this to boast, but to show that you should never give up on your African Dream. They told us it couldn’t be done, but look at Pan-Africanism now, rising and resonating across the world. So powerful is this awakening that new efforts are being made to divide us again, through engineered diaspora wars and digital distractions. But we see through it. And though we’ve come this far, we cannot go any further without your support. The gap in ownership of our own online platforms is a sobering reminder of how much more we must do to ensure we are never at the mercy of others again. That’s why we’re building even more, a Pan African Lifestyle App that will revolutionize travel, relocation, and investment by giving the diaspora our own social platform, and PANAFRICON, the first major and official Pan-African conference designed to unite and empower us on a global scale. To make this possible, we need your continued support, whether through purchasing a tee, a book, a game, a song, or supporting in any way you can. Every contribution goes a long way toward catalyzing The African Dream. If you believe Pan-Africanism is more than just a word, if you know it’s a mindset, a movement, and a lifestyle, then support Pan African Lifestyle and let’s keep building The African Dream together.
